I am a confectionery artist who takes a holistic approach to cake design. I try to create simple yet elegant confections that are creative and engaging by using materials in their natural form. In addition to the medium itself, I find inspiration in knowing the context around which the cake will be presented. I love collaborating with florists, stylists, event planners etc. to really get an understanding of how the things I create will fit seamlessly into an aggregate vision, while still maintaining a distinct presence.
